She is accepting new patients who are between 6 and 25 years of age and her availability is generally about 4-6 weeks out, although it fluctuates depending on the time of year. Dr. Krafchick is an in-network provider with Tricare only. For all others, payment is due at the time of service. Payment may be made via check, cash, credit card, or from your health savings account/card. We will provide a "Superbill" with all the information you need to submit to your insurance company.

For mental health emergencies, please contact Colorado Crisis Services, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The # is 1-844-493-8255.

Evaluations and Follow-up Care

Initial evaluations are scheduled for 60-90 minutes in order to obtain a complete history, assess current functioning, develop a treatment plan, and discuss options, including risks and benefits of the recommended treatment. Dr. Krafchick is able to prescribe medications if indicated. She does not perform neuropsychological or educational testing. However, if such testing is indicated based on her assessment, she will provide appropriate referrals.

Recommendations for psychotherapy are made at the time of the initial assessment. Dr. Krafchick offers some CBT-informed therapy services based on whether there is a match between the patient needs and her skill set as well as scheduling availability. She often provides therapy referrals to non-MD psychotherapists with whom she coordinates care.

Patients under her care for medication management are seen monthly for 25 minutes (after the initial evaluation). Once stabilized, patients must be seen every three months for 25 minutes, or patients can arrange for their care to be  transferred back to their primary care provider.
